As you know, the State of Indiana recently passed meaningful legislation aimed at helping you produce work in Indiana. It's the culmination of three years of work by IMIN working with key legislators. And while it's just a start, it's a good start. The new legislation provides meaningful incentives for film, video, music, and new media production in Indiana!!
But now the real work begins. And that includes making sure that you're ready to take full advantage of the new tax credits and other incentives. IEDC has scheduled a seminar that you should put on your calendar right now.
The incentives start on July 1st. So we are scheduling this seminar for July 2nd in Indianapolis. You'll learn about the program from the folks who know it best, the program's administrators. Here's the time and place:
Time: Wednesday, July 2, at 3 p.m.
Location: The Athenaeum 401 E. Michigan St. in Downtown Indianapolis
Erin Newell and Steve Wolff of the Film Office at the Indiana Economic Development Corp. will present the incentives, and answer any questions. After the meeting, adjourn to the great Rathskeller.
